Anton Driesen (°1999) is an art & cultural worker, who focuses on socio-urban dynamics. Drawing on his background in urban studies and sociology, he explores how artistic practices can contribute to sustainable and equitable urban development. His practice encompasses artistic support, project development, coordination, curation and research.
He has been the coordinator of Veduta since 2017. He is currently working at De Nieuwe Opdrachtgevers, where he develops art projects based on the wishes and needs of the city. Previously, he was a policy officer at Platform Kunst in Opdracht (Department of Culture, Youth and Media). He gained international experience at Pilotenkeuche (Leipzig), Le Guess Who? (Utrecht) and Sciences Po (Bordeaux), where he further deepened his research into urban and artistic processes.
