Jonas Reubens (°1995) is a photographer, director of photography and videographer based in Brussels. His work takes a documentary approach: honest, direct and unpolished, with a focus on reality as it presents itself. His visual language is gentle and sensitive, evident in his use of colour, camera movements and a minimalist editing style that draws on poetic or slow-cinema traditions. At Veduta, he works closely with Marie De Keersmaecker on visual identity, translating artistic practices and urban narratives into a coherent and recognisable visual language.
In the early years of his career, he worked extensively within the music and cultural sector, an environment that helped shape his visual practice and nourished his broad musical knowledge. Today, he shares that background through carefully curated DJ sets, including at Veduta events and as a resident at Kiosk Radio.
